Retail Sales Assistant
Retail Sales Assistant (Full time)
We have an exciting opportunity for a FULL TIME RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT to join Coneys/Cavani at Coneys in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. It is a split site role shared between the two stores.
Salary: Minimum wage dependent upon age
Hours: Full time hours (40 hours per week), applicants must be flexible as this role will include both weekday and weekend hours.

Description: The Retail Sales Assistant that we employ must be motivated and make a contribution in support of achieving all sales targets (both individually and as part of a team). In order to do this, they must have a detailed knowledge of all clothes/shoes/accessories being sold in the store, presenting features and benefits of each. They must work positively in all areas of the position, including selling and back of house support (admin and stockroom). We expect a strong focus upon customer service and the presentation of excellent people skills.
Experience: We are looking to recruit someone who has had some previous experience of working as part of a sales team. They must have had experience of adopting a pro-active selling approach, being responsible for approaching customers and initiating conversation to establish their needs and completing with excellent customer service.
Front Of House Supervisor / Second Cook
CONEYS DEPARTMENT STORE are looking to employ a FRONT OF HOUSE SUPERVISOR/SECOND COOK who enjoys a busy service and fresh cooking - using high quality ingredients. This is a dual role in an expanding business with sociable hours!
As the Cook you will:
Cover the Head Chef's days off
Support all day to day operations
Prepare/cook hot breakfasts, lunches, light bites and any other food preparation necessary in running the catering aspect of the business
Monitor stock quantities and stock rotation ensuring product quality and waste to be kept to a minimum
Maintain high standards, compliance and follow company systems & procedures
Ensure daily, weekly, monthly cleaning rotas are followed
Ensure our current 5 star food rating is maintained within the kitchen/front of house
Have had experience as a cook in busy commercial customer facing catering operations
Be someone that takes pride in what they serve
Has an understanding of legislation & compliance
A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
Ability to work at a fast pace
As a Front of House Supervisor you will:

Required knowledge & experience:
Minimum of a Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene
Health & safety legislation including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH) and food safety standards
Proven cooking experience
Knowledge of dietary requirements – strong knowledge related to allergens
Safe use of kitchen equipment including knives
Position – Minimum of 30 hours per week with the ability to do more when required (weekend days will be included in the rota)
